English: in May 1904, James "Jim" Gillespie of Rising Sun, Indiana was on trial for the December 1903 murder of his twin sister Elizabeth. After a mistrial and a new trial in 1905, he was convicted; the jury recommended a life sentence, but he was released on parole in April 1907. In 1938, he committed suicide. |
