« Cette grande sculpture, suspendue dans un puits ouvert entre la mezzanine et le grand volume de la station, consiste en deux anneaux de trois grands tubes d'aluminium chacun, dont les surfaces intérieures sont recouvertes d'émail aux couleurs chaudes. Une section se trouve en haut et une en bas, ce qui permet aux passagers d'admirer la sculpture de la mezzanine ou des quais. La sculpture était motorisée à l'origine; le moteur ne fonctionne plus mais on peut la tourner à la main ou laisser le vent la faire tourner. Complètement distinct des autres oeuvres de de Tonnancour, le mobile fut conçu en collaboration avec les architectes de la station, Jean-Louis Lalonde et Julien Hébert. De dire de Tonnancour, Mon idée était de créer une sculpture qui tourne très lentement, si lentement que les gens se demandent : voyons, je rêve ou bien la sculpture a bougé ? J’ai pensé que cela apporterait une note de mystère à la station. À l’époque, dans les arts, la mobilité devenait une dimension nouvelle. Il fallait que tout bouge !
