Summary[edit]

Description
Deutsch: Von der Seeseite, der Turm war ein Leitfeuer ohne rotierende Optik, deshalb ist die Lampenstube nicht rundum verglast. Gebaut wurde er 1891, 1915 wurde er wegen der Kriegsereignisse außer Betrieb genommen und 1919 nach Verschiebungen der Fahrrinnen endgültig stillgelegt. Den markanten Anstrich erhielt der Leuchtturm erst 1973, vorher war er einfarbig rot.
Der Turm ist unter anderem Trauzimmer der Gemeinde Krummhörn, die Rahmen davor wurden für die Liebesschlösser aufgestellt, die vorher an den Fenstergittern hingen.
