Description
Deutsch: Am Fähranleger Valbiska, er erhielt den Namen der Bucht. Eine Ansiedlung gibt es hier nicht. Der Verkehr ist dichter als auf der kürzeren Strecke zwischen Brestova und Porozina, doch liegt die Strecke Valbiska–Merag in einigermaßen direkter Linie auf dem Weg von Zagreb. Kein Wunder, dass die Inselhauptstraßen 102 und 104 auf Krk zu Bleifußalleen und Rennbahnen wurden, wo sich die Polizei mit Geschwindigkeitskontrollen auffällig zurückhält.
Das Fährschiff Ilovik wurde 2006 gebaut, es fiel für ein Doppelendfährschiff recht elegant aus. Das Schiff hat noch ein zweites, unteres Ladedeck, die zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt geschlossenen Zufahrtsrampen liegen jeweils in der Mittelachse.
