Description
Deutsch: Vignolschienenweichen, Trennung Richtung Hauptbahnhof über die Friedrichstraße (rechts) und Bahnhof Gotha Ost über die Hersdorf-, Reuter- und Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. Die Weiche im rechten Gleis wird spitz befahren und ist stellbar, die Antriebs- und Übertragungsteile sind eine ziemlich rustikale und freiliegende Konstruktion. Die nur stumpf befahrene Weiche links ist völlig Verschluss- und übertragungsteillos, die Zungen liegen völlig frei. Beide Weichen liegen auf Stahlschwellen, die Zungen sind Federschienenzungen. Die Bauart stammt aus den 1980ern, sie entspricht den Parabelweichen der Fernbahn.
