Summary[edit]

Description
English: The still uninhabited monastery of Ypapantí is the only preserved one in Meteora, which is not located on a hilltop, but in a mountainside (here of Dimitrios Rock). Only the residential building protrudes. The cable-guided ascent route is an addition of the last ten years. However, due to the location on the north side of Dimitrios Rock, the area received sunshine.
