| Description |
Deutsch: Vom Wegübergang Alte Dorfstraße Richtung Südost, die seit vielen Jahrzehnten vorhandenen Seitenbahnteige machten den Bahnhof Großsteinberg für Zugkreuzungen besonders geeignet. In den übrigen Bahnhöfen zwischen Borsdorf und Großbothen wurden sie erst in Vorbereitung auf den eStw-Bau errichtet. Im Anbau des Dienstgebäudes befand sich bis 2010 das Befehlsstellwerk G, ein Ende der 1930er gebautes mechanisches Stellwerk der Bauform Einheit. In den Siebzigern wurde es zum Baumuster der Umstellung auf elektrisch ferngestellte Weichen und Lichtsignale, für den erforderlichen Relaisraum wurde in Blickrichtung hinter dem Dienstgebäude rechts eine Betonfertigteilgarage aufgestellt. Mechanisch verblieben die zwei Riegelleitungen der vier nicht mehr vorhandenen Rangierweichen zwischen den Hauptgleisen und zur Anbindung des Ladestraßengleises. |
