Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Panel at the entrance. Much of the decoration is with tiles in a technique that was introduced to Iznik in about 1514 when Selim I brought Persian craftsmen after conquering Tabriz. The latest examples are from 1555 in the Kara Ahmet Paşa mosque. This türbe contains the most extensive and beautiful collection in this style.
