\Natalina (a.k.a. Dr. Canard) introduces the ‘Pataphysical Slot Machine for a video demo, dressed as Ubu, our poetic oracle. This video was shot by Fabrice Florin (a.k.a. Dr. Fabio), with creative direction from Mark Petrakis (a.k.. Dr. Zboon). The video demo will be edited in coming weeks and posted on our ‘Pataphysical Video page on Vimeo: <a href="https://vimeo.com/album/3051039" rel="nofollow">vimeo.com/album/3051039</a> This series of photos focuses on the transformation of Natalina into a new Ubu-inspired character. We first made her hair stick out more, with two braids up held by rubber bands on each side of her head. Then we added a party hat and glasses. And finally, the oversize body of Ubu, with a white robe painted with a red gidouille spiral. Wearing this costume helped Natalina change into a more fun and powerful character, which spoke louder, in a more playful manner than some of our earlier tests. The power of the mask was clearly at play in this transformation. And all this should make for a much better video. Stay tuned ...
