Intersectional Flag of Canada

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The five maple leaves and their relationship represents the unity of Canada under the rubric of intersectionalism. The leaves shows that the unity should revolves around a center, the intersectional-based state seeking to end oppression, symbolized by the larger leaf. The four smaller leaves that surround the big leaf symbolize the overarching intersectional categories of race, ethnicity and religion, gender and sexuality, class and caste, and physical appearance.
