Description

The International Space Station after mission STS-102 on March 18 2001.

Backdropped against the blackness of space, the International Space Station (ISS) is now separated from the Space Shuttle Discovery after several days of joint activities and an important crew exchange. One of the astronauts aboard Discovery took this 70mm photograph from the aft flight deck.
