Description
English:
Interior of the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History showing skeletal displays of saber tooth tigers, ca.1920
Photograph of the interior of the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History showing skeletal displays of saber tooth tigers, ca.1920. Propped up by metal bars and held together by wires, the skeletons of two saber tooth tigers are made to look natural, as if they are actually walking. The skeletons are positioned platforms around which are glass-covered tables containing prehistoric artifacts.
