Description
English:

A mostly open area is encircled by wooden walls, with church spires rising beyond.

Fort Stanwix. The fort complex is an earth and timber-clad reinforced concrete structure, designed to approximate the appearance of the fort in 1777. At that time, it had been designed as a temporary fortification of timber and earth construction. The fort includes several structures within and outside of its walls. St. Peter's Church is visible here just beside the reconstructed fort.
