| Description |
English: Inside the wooden permanent way hut. The inside to a platlayers hut on the run from Weybourne to bridge 303. It is of wooden sleeper construction. Built for the maintenance men to shelter from harsh weather or just to have their dinner. This is the second example within a mile of each other, number 2 being 1479960. Another is at Weybourne (very overgrown). A broken window pane allowed this picture to be taken.
Please Note this photo was taken on railway property, I was in possession of a line side pass issued by the railway. Going on the line side without one is trespassing. |
