Description Statue within Hofkirche, Innsbruck, Austria. Rudolf I (1218-1291), the first king of Germany from the House of Habsburg. The first of the count-kings of Germany, he reigned from 1273 until his death. Bronze statue, codpiece well-rubbed by visitors. Arms: Imperial arms with inescutcheon of Habsburg (ancient): Or, a lion rampant gules crowned armed and langued azure impaling in chief Or, the three lions passant sable (w:Duchy of Swabia) ?, in base Gules, a bend cotised fleury argent between six crowns (Alsace) ?
