Summary[edit]

Description
English: Ref.: T. Kozawa, S. Tagawa, and M. Shell, J. Appl. Phys. 103, 084306 (2008). The multispur effect results from several electron-ion pairs generated by EUV which may interact with one another. The initial distribution of ionized molecules, excited molecules, and thermalized (slowed-down) electrons are shown for an EUV photon absorbed at the origin. The electrons may still subsequently migrate.
