A visual depiction of independent vs. non-mutually exclusive probability events.
This diagram image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Independent and Non-independent Probability Events.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: This image is a visual depiction of what it means to have independent and non mutually exclusive events when calculating probability. The independent events show no overlap between the two probabilities. The non-mutually exclusives events show the overlap between the two probability events as the union of A and B.
