Local slope of the S(M) relation for numbers up to 10 to the power 100.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The S(M) is the maximum possible sum of all possible digit permutations for numbers of order M (digits). This figure shows the slope of S(M) as function of M. It approaches 100, meaning that every digit increase leads to a 100-fold increase of S(M). The downward jumps after M=10,20,30, ... are due to the new added repetition of digit 9 (e.g. from M=10: 9876543210 to M=11: 99876543210).
