Summary

[edit]
Description
English: June 4, 1945 - The truck that carries Moretto's body with the background of the mountains, after the hard recovery one year after his death. The funeral of the Asiago plateau partisans had already been celebrated on May 29th. Moretto (Rinaldo Rigoni of Asiago) is the last to be found.

A year before, on June 5, 1944, the band of Giuriolo ran into a terrible roundup. Pino Thiella of Sarcedo, Ferruccio Piccioni di Roana, Nello Galla, Siro Loser of Roana and Moretto, all in their twenties, lost their lives. Bepi Zanella, Sabino Fabris Saetta, Renato Vellar, Renato Bonato and Aldo Sandro Bonato survived by finding shelter inside the kubala (a small cave at Cima Incudine). Mario Rigoni Stern writes in his short story “Un ragazzo delle nostre contrade” (A boy of our lands): We took him down in the icy rain and hail, [...] on the truck we covered him with dripping flowers and two days later he had a funeral that not even a king will have never".

The truck should be a Fiat 626 BLM Unified Truck, produced from 1939 and 1948. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_626

This provision shall not apply to photographs of writings, documents, business papers, material objects, technical drawings and similar products (Art. 87). Italian law makes an important distinction between "works of photographic art" and "simple photographs" (Art. 2, § 7). Photographs that are "intellectual work with creative characteristics" are protected for 70 years after the author's death (Art. 32 bis), whereas simple photographs are protected for a period of 20 years from creation.
