Description

Igreja São Bartolomeu Rua da Igreja O imóvel, do século XVII, foi restaurado, tendo aberto ao culto religioso em 1860. Da fachada revestida a azulejos, destaca-se a torre, anexada à direita e, a composição do portal que engloba a janela do coro. O vão é enquadrado por pilastras dóricas e entablamento direito com altos pináculos laterais. A janela assenta no entablamento possuindo igualmente pilastras dóricas. Coroa o conjunto um frontão quebrado encimado por uma pequena cruz. Possui na fachada as armas reais portuguesas.

O retábulo principal é de inspiração tradicional neoclássica. Destaca-se a escultura da Virgem do Rosário com o Menino em madeira policromada do século XVIII. http://www.cm-estarreja.pt/patrimonio_religioso
