Description
Español: El templo es construido entre los años 1910 y 1922. El diseño arquitectónico pertenece al ingeniero francés Gustavo Eiffel, quien también diseña los templos de Guayacán (Coquimbo) San Marcos (Arica) y San Vicente de Paul (Caldera).

De estilo neogótico, con planta de cruz latina, de tres naves, con cielos abovedados de crucería. Los altares cuentan con elementos barrocos y columnas salomónicas. Posee una torre de madera de 30 m de altura.

Para su construcción se utilizan materiales de alta calidad, la mayoría, traídos de Europa y Estados Unidos, que llegan en barco al puerto de Coquimbo y luego se envían en tren hasta la última estación del valle del Elqui, Rivadavia, lugar desde donde queda como única opción transportar las cargas en carretas y a lomo de mula.
English: The temple is built between 1910 and 1922. The architectural design belongs to the French engineer Gustavo Eiffel, who also designs the temples of Guayacán (Coquimbo), San Marcos (Arica) and San Vicente de Paul (Caldera).

Neo-Gothic in style, with a Latin cross plan, three naves, and vaulted ceilings with ribbed ribs. The altars have Baroque elements and Solomonic columns. It has a wooden tower 30 m high.

For its construction, high-quality materials are used, most of them brought from Europe and the United States, which arrive by boat at the port of Coquimbo and are then sent by train to the last station in the Elqui Valley, Rivadavia, from where it remains as only option to transport the loads in carts and on the back of a mule.
