Description
English: Comparison of iconographic website navigation schemes;
  • The upper example shows a series of unlabelled icons, known as a @mystery meat navigation", in which the user must deduce the meaning of the pictograms or discover their implied target by progressively hovering the mouse cursor over each icon.
  • The lower example shows the same icon set with each item explicitly labelled with a textual expression of the intended target.
