Description
English: ISS031-E-078305 (29 May 2012) --- Expedition 31 crew members pose for an in-flight crew portrait inside the SpaceX Dragon cargo craft currently attached to the International Space Station. Pictured clockwise (from left center) are Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, commander; along with NASA astronauts Don Pettit and Joe Acaba, European Space Agency astronaut Andre Kuipers, Russian cosmonauts Gennady Padalka and Sergei Revin, all flight engineers. The SpaceX Falcon 9 and its Dragon spacecraft launched at 3:44 a.m. (EDT) on May 22. This mission is a demonstration flight by Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX, as part of its contract with NASA to have private companies launch cargo safely to the International Space Station.
