| Description |
English: The Monty Hall Problem is about a game show where a contestant picks from 1 of 3 doors. Behind 2 of them are goats, but behind the remaining door is a car. After the contestant picks, the host opens one of the remaining doors with a goat and lets the contestant either switch or keep the door they first chose. If you want a car, the best decision would be to switch, since there is a 2/3 chance that the door you first chose has a goat behind it. It does not turn into a 50-50 chance once one of the doors with a goat has been opened. Are you guaranteed to get the car if you switch? No, but the chances are greater if you do :) |
