Description
English: Sectional view of the two demonstration coaches of the InterCityExperimental. The upper car was one of the two that had been ordered in the first place (along with a monitoring car). The lower one was ordered by Deutsche Bundesbahn at a later stage. In an attempt to maximize space, it had a twin lavatory in its center.
Deutsch: Schnittdarstellung der beiden Demonstrationswagen des IntercityExperimental. Der in der Zeichnung oben dargestellte Wagen war, neben dem Messwagen, einer von zwei ursprünglich bestellten Mittelwagen. Der unten dargestellte Wagen wurde später von der Deutschen Bundesbahn nachbestellt. Er war – als Versuch, kleinere Raumeinheiten zu schaffen – mit einem Doppel-WC in Wagenmitte ausgestattet worden.
