Description
Deutsch: Die Zugdeckungssignale sind Fahrstraßenziele, wenn die Bahnsteiggleise teilweise besetzt sind. In einem Kopfbahnhof wie dem Bahnhof Leipzig Hbf kommt das praktisch nur infrage, wenn zwei Flügelzüge am Bahnsteig vereinigt werden sollen.
Die Zählpunkte liegen sechs Meter hinter den Signalen, Gleismagnete gibt es nicht. Beim praktisch nicht vorhandenen Durchrutschweg wären sie auch nutzlos. Die Triebfahrzeugführer werden allerdings mit dem Frühaltanzeiger Zs 13 am rückgelegenen Hauptsignal vom kurzen Einfahrweg mit Halt am Zugdeckungssignal informiert, zusätzlich ist das planmäßige Kuppeln mit einem weiteren Zugteil in den Buchfahrplanunterlagen enthalten.
