Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Hydrodynamic Bearing Demonstration Rig. This demonstration consists of a hand-cranked see-through acrylic bearing with water flow representing air. As the journal rotates, a fluid film is formed between the sliding surfaces. The faster the journal rotates, the more load can be supported when you or a colleague press down on the torque arm at the top of the display cabinet.
