Description
Deutsch: Naturdenkmal Hungerbrunnen; eine episodisch, früher nur in sehr verregneten Jahren, im gleichnamigen Trockental aus dem ebenen Talboden schüttende Karstquelle. Ostalb bei Altheim (Alb-Donau-Kreis, bei Heidenheim); abgebildeter Bereich bei Heldenfingen in der Gemeinde Gerstetten (Landkreis Heidenheim). 523m NN.
Binder hat recherchiert, dass der Brunnen im 20. Jahrhundert 30 mal ansprang. (Binder, Höhlenführer Schw. Alb, 2003).

English: "Hungerbrunnen", a karst spring,running episodically - in rainy years only, Swabian Alb. The water exits from a flat, former floodplain, now a dry Valley with the same name as the spring itself.
In the 20th century water emerged about 30 times only.
