Description
English: The first Mogul emperor buried in India, he was contemporary with Henry VIII and died 1565. His widow built the mausoleum and is buried there too. A huge centre octagon is surmounted by a dome, and Humayun's Tomb is under the centre of the dome, quite plain and without inscription.
