Description
English: The Hudson River and Mid-Hudson Bridge between Poughkeepsie, New York and Highland, New York as seen through the seasons. All images were taken from the Walkway Over the Hudson. The first image (top-left) was taken shortly after the walkway's opening, and shows the colorful state of the Hudson Valley during October. The second image (top-right) was taken during the dead of winter, with gray skies blending into the river's icy surface. The third image (bottom-left) depicts the clouds of winter breaking as a hint of green overtakes trees on the river's banks. The final image (bottom-right) is characterized by the fresh scenes of early summer. Images were taken at various times and slightly different locations.
