Summary

Description

The forests in the background are cleared soon. The Turkish clothing industry will soon plant cotton fields. The life of the Karo (approximately 2.000 dwell on the eastern banks of the Omo river and practise flood-retreat cultivation, growing sorghum, maize and beans) will be impaired by it. Photographers like Hans Sylvester and Jimmy Nelson started to change her culture. But the cotton fields finally destroy her culture.
