English: This graphic summaries the content of the second Gaia data release published on 25 April 2018. It contains information nearly 1.7 billion stars. For many of the stars, this includes their position and brightness on the sky, their colour, surface temperature and velocity. The dataset also includes the positions of known Solar System objects such as asteroids.
Deutsch: Diese Grafik fasst den Inhalt des zweiten Gaiakatalogs vom 25. April 2018 zusammen. Er enthält knapp 1,7 Milliarden Sterne.
