Español: El “Hotel átomo” es un concepto divulgativo para explicar los diferentes niveles de energía alrededor del núcleo central del átomo con el paralelismo de plantas de un hotel.
En cada “planta” o nivel de energía puede haber diferentes “habitaciones” o rangos donde existe la posibilidad de encontrar hasta 2 electrones con diferente spin. Además muestra los diferentes tipos de orbitales -zonas de probabilidad de encontrar al electrón- y cómo estos se van superponiendo por capas alrededor del núcleo. |
