Woman seated in doorway is volunteer nurse Abby Hopper Gibbons from New York City (Source: descendant Angela Schear, Oct. 2013) Forms part of: Civil War Photographs (Anthony-Taylor-Rand-Ordway-Eaton collection). Exhibited: "The Universal Archive : The Condition of the Document and the Modern Photographic Utopia" at the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), 2008-2009.
