Description
Français : Photo prise à Icod de Los Vinos, sur l'île de Tenerife en Espagne, à 400m au dessus du niveau de la mer. On peut voir la courbure de l'horizon sur cette image, en comparant la ligne d'horizon à la forme d'une rambarde utilisée comme référence rectiligne. Cette comparaison permet de s'affranchir d'une potentielle déformation due à l'objectif de l'appareil photo, car une telle déformation s'applique de la même façon à la ligne d'horizon et à la rambarde. La ligne d'horizon touche la rambarde à gauche et à droite de l'image, mais elle s'élève au dessus de celle-ci au centre de l'image. La ligne d'horizon présente donc une courbure que ne possède pas la rambarde.
