Description
日本語: 內地臺灣間航路。領臺以前臺灣の航路權は英商ドグラス汽船會社が獨占し，淡水と安平不を起點として南支那間の航路に當つて居たが。領臺後總督府は大阪商船と近海郵船の二會社をして，現に百八十萬圓餘の航路補助金を交付し，內地と支那方面に定期航路を命じ來つたことから，終ひには外國船も廢航の止むなきに至つた。特に內地臺灣間の航路は一萬噸級六隻を以て二日每に後着せしめて居る。正午神戸を出帆した船は，翌日門司に寄りその三日目の午後には基隆に入港する。圖は大阪商船の新造船蓬萊丸の基隆出帆で，客室の完備は同社の誇りとして居る走である。（《日本地理大系．臺灣篇》編輯部）
