Description
English: Restauradores, Lisbon, Portugal The monument honoring the calceteiro returned today to the streets of Lisboa. The chosen place was the Praça do Restauradores, next to Avenida Palace and is now framed by a work in the sidewalk. The Mayor of Lisboa paid tribute to the activity of these men, "an art that represents our identity as a city and community”, said during the ceremony that marked the replacement of the work by Sérgio Stichini.
