Summary[edit]

Description
English:
Homes of fishermen in California [presumably in Palos Verdes Peninsula or San Pedro areas], ca.1890-1920
Photograph of a few fishermen's dwellings in California [presumably in Palos Verdes Peninsula or San Pedro areas], ca.1890-1920. Four men are near the small wooden structures nestled against a grassy embankment abutting the stony ocean shore. A couple of small boats (one with a raised sail) are nearby on shore. Waves roll gently into the coast along which bluffs are visible in the background.; The original record indicated Redondo Beach, California as a place where the photograph was taken. However, since Redondo Beach does not have such type of a shoreline as shown on the photograph, the record was modified in accordance with the information provided by an outside source.
