See the cats sleeping peacefully on the floor near the stove after having disposed of from a nearby grocery store. Dr. H.A. Glore, a Medical Doctor, first opened a drug store in Mableton in 1911, and was elected the first Mayor of Mableton in 1912 when the town was first incorporated. See Georgia Laws 1912, page 1085. This picture shows the second building the drug store was located in.
