| Description |
Deutsch: Beide Streifen wurden aus derselben 3-mm dicken Balsaholzplatte mit einem Cutter ausgeschnitten. Beide Streifen waren anfänglich 10 cm lang und 1 cm breit. Dann lagen beide Streifen für 3 Tage in demselben Wasserbecken. Der linke Streifen dehnte sich auf 10,2 cm Länge aus, der rechte Streifen behielt seine alte Länge (10,0 cm) bei. Legte man die Streifen deckungsgleich übereinander, spürte man, dass der rechte Streifen etwas in die Breite gequollen war. Der linke Streifen ließ sich sehr leicht in der Länge biegen, der rechte verhielt sich eher Steif. Der linke Streifen wog gequollen 1,7 Gramm, der rechte 1,6 Gramm. Das Bild entstand in der Mathe-AC Lernwerkstatt in Aachen. |
