Fire extinguisher mounted to a wall

Summary[edit]

Description
English: A wall in the hallway of the historical Mahlmühle (gristmill) from Weipertshofen in the Hohenlohe open-air museum at Wackershofen near Schwäbisch Hall, Germany.
The hallway of the Mahlmühle from Weipertshofen is painted bright blue according to historical models. (According to the explanatory plaque on site, this blue wall paint was very popular at the end of the 19th century because affordable blue wall paints – synthetic ultramarine – were something completely new at the time). Here there is a charming colour contrast with the (modern) red fire extinguisher.
