Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschützte ev.-ref. Kirche in Hagen-Hohenlimburg, Freiheitstraße. Hallenkirche; erbaut und gefördert 1749/51 von Landesherr und Patron Graf Moritz Casimir I. zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg sowie weiterer Stifter (Kollekte). Die ehemalige gräfliche Hofkirche hat die für reformierte Gotteshäuser typische Bauform: ein großer, rechteckiger Raum mit hohen Fenstern, lichtdurchflutet. Die Ausschmückung des Kirchenraums ist einfach und schlicht, nur die bemalte Holzdecke, die kunstvoll geschnitzte Kanzel und der Orgelprospekt zeugen von barocker Prachtentfaltung. Patronatskirche des Fürsten zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg.
