Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschütztes Fachwerkhaus im Hagener Stadtteil Hohenlimburg, Ortsteil Nahmer, Schleipenbergstraße 31. Ehemaliges Wohnhaus eines Kupferhammers. Am 04. November 1571 erlaubte Graf Adolf von Neuenahr dem aus Essen stammenden Burchhard von Stade die Errichtung eines Kupferhammers im Nahmertal. Später war es das Verwaltungsgebäude des Hengstenberg´schen Kupferhammers, der 1870 geschlossen wurde. Der älteste Zeitzeuge Hohenlimburger Industriegeschichte aus dem Jahre 1571 wurde 1922/23 von der Talsohle des Nahmertales in die Schleipenbergstraße umgesetzt. Der Türbalken trägt die Inschrift: „ANNO 1571 ADEI DENN 29 AUGUSTEIAN • WAN GADT NICHT HELFT BAWEN UNS • SO IST ALLE UNSRE ARBEIDT UMBSONS • WER GADT TORTRUT DER HADT WOLGEBAU“.
