Deutsch: Hohenlimburg von der Hagener Chaussee aus. Postkarte von 1908. – Endhaltestelle (seit 1900) der Straßenbahnlinie nach Hagen vor dem Gasthof Möller. Links der beschrankte Bahnübergang in Richtung Innenstadt und Lennebrücke. Rechts vor dem Gasthof sieht man Haus Hüsecken, am Hang Häuser „An der Kehle“ und unterhalb des Wasserturms an der Eggestraße (heute Boeingstraße). Im Hintergrund rechts oben Schloss Hohenlimburg. – 1808 wurde mit dem Bau der Chaussee von Hagen nach Limburg begonnen; bis 1812 wurde diese Straße über Letmathe bis nach Iserlohn fortgeführt. |
