Summary[edit]

Description
English: Photo taken 2021 of exhibits in Hjemmefrontmuseet Rakkestad, a community-based museum in Rakkestad, Norway. The museum showcases around 3000 artifacts related to Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway and the Norwegian resistance movement during World War II from 1940 to 1945, and the corresponding historical era:
  • Items from Auschwitz concentration camp (Konzentrationslager Auschwitz, Auschwitz or KZ Auschwitz), the Nazis' largest concentration camp located 50 km west of Kraków in Poland, specially built for the mass extermination of people during World War II: a broken spoon, an empty canned food tin with pieces, possibly made of stoneware, lying on a worn, painted stone slab.
