Summary[edit]

Description

Aviator Walter Hinton listening to a Brunswick Panatrope phonograph, c. 1926, possibly 1927. A painting of the NC-4, the first airplane to fly across the Atlantic (piloted by Hinton) is on the wall.

Scanned from a photograph given to Infrogmation by Hinton. Hinton said that the phonograph was a gift from the president of Brunswick, who was impressed by a speech Hinton gave about the future of aviation.
