English: High hedge-banks, Shepherds' Lane A slight change of slope and direction on this long downhill lane allows a glimpse of the Ness at the mouth of the River Teign. It isn't a large headland - there are higher cliffs to the south - but its shape and location draw the eye like nothing else. |
