An heron in an unlikely urban location
| Description |
 English: This heron is standing on the pavement only a few metres (it is a wide pavement) from the busy Harrow Road in west London, England. This is not as surprising as it may seem because the Grand Union Canal lies immediately behind the railings visible in the background. In the thumbnail image and in this image showing the canal and the Queen's Park Library this bird's position is just on the road side of the railings. |
