Description
English: Unknown date of photo.

Henry Lloyd had a large farm in Northbrook which extended around the present day Pine Meadow Nursing Home to the end of the airport runway and south to Glastonbury Road. Near the home of Bill and Gail Salmond was located this large mill owned by Archie McLuckie (from Flinton) and George York (from Kaladar) who were partners.
The mill employed many people since much of the work was done by hand. Team of horses moved the logs and lumber. Lumber was stacked by hand in huge piles along Glastonbury Road where many homes sit today. Water for the mill was supplied from Beaver Creek.
Kimberly Lumber - a well known Napanee company may have used this mill from time to time.
