Description
English: The former New York Telephone exchange building on 199 Fulton Avenue at the northeast corner with Terrace Avenue in the Village of Hempstead, now owned by Verizon. The building is located across the street from the NRHP-listed Hempstead Post Office at 200 Fulton Avenue on the southwest corner of High Street. This image of the old Bell Telephone building was taken from the crosswalk on NY 24 of the previously mentioned intersection.
